OUR TOP 5 TIPS FOR HEALTHY SKIN

OUR TOP 5 TIPS FOR HEALTHY SKIN

Hey BBSkin Lovers! Today's post is all about making your skin a priority with our Top 5 Tips for achieving and maintaining healthy skin.

 TIP #1 EAT RIGHT

Your skin needs a healthy diet free of excessive sugars, carbs, and fats. Veggies and Fruits will love on your skin. No skincare products can overcome this tip, so don't overlook it.

TIP #2 DRINK WATER, WATER & MORE WATER

Your skin is the largest organ you have, and it cherishes water. Water cleanses the skin from the inside and rids it of toxins that like to make an appearance on the outside. Water is also important due to the lower levels of Ceramides that are in black skin. Ceramides are water holding molecules that lock moisture into your skin, which helps to prevent dryness and irritation. Having less means your skin needs more water and support in products.

TIP #3 STICK TO A STRIGENT ROUTINE

Your skin needs to be trained for its health. A daily DAY & Night regime that includes thorough cleansing, toning, serums, eye cream, moisturizer, and facial oil will get your skin in tip-top shape for the healthy radiance it will be exerting.

 TIP #4 WEAR SUNSCREEN PERIOD.

Whether you are inside or outside, wear sunscreen. Wearing sunscreen is the most important tip to having healthy skin, but it is the most misunderstood. Sun exposure regardless of level causes skin issues over time (e.g., wrinkles, age spots, hyperpigmentation acceleration, skin cancer, et.). These issues can be avoided by wearing sunscreen, SPF 30 or higher is strongly recommended for ultimate protection.

 TIP #5 STOP STRESSIN'

Don't worry about things that you can't control. Our body is a fascinating system of functions that are all linked together. Any sign of disruption, whether physical or mental will cause it to go into survival mode and push out what's not supposed to be there. The extraction of stress shows up on the skin in the form of acne, blemishes, and other skin problems that we don't need. So don't stress! LET IT GO!
