Is Baltesta Bean Natural Skincare a “plant-based” beauty brand?

Yep, we sure are! Baltesta Bean Natural Skincare is an all-natural, plant-based, Farm & Sea skincare brand that focuses on the use of seed-based ingredients ethically sourced from the Earth’s farms and the World's seas and oceans to effectively address the unique skin concerns endured by people of color. Such ingredients are biologically designed to protect, enhance, restore, and maintain the melanin allure of black & brown skin. Our product formulations are grounded in this four-prong approach to plant-based holistic beauty with tried and true ingredients that have been passed down over generations.

Is Baltesta Bean Natural Skincare a vegan brand?

Yes, we are definitely a vegan brand. 100%!

Are your products made exclusively for Skin of Color?

Absolutely! Baltesta Bean Natural Skincare exists for Skin of Color. Our Creator & Founder started out making products in her kitchen to fill the void of effective natural plant-based skincare solutions that address the unique needs of black & brown skin. With primarily chemical-based solutions at reach and no real relief of skin conditions endured by black & brown skin, the presence of our company serves as a tangible response to our Founder's quest to create spaces of self-esteem, self-care, and full presence through healthy skincare products that are simple and effective in showcasing the stunning allure of melanin skin.

Do you test your products on animals?

That's a definite No! We do not test our products on animals...strictly humans only. Over 95% of our Team consists of Vegetarians and Vegans. Thus, we carry the life and well-being of animals in our hearts and actions.

Are your products safe to use for all skin types? How about pregnancy safe?

All of our products are formulated to be safely used on all skin types. Whether you have oily, dry, combination, or problematic skin, our products were made to help you and your skin. If you have any questions or are unsure of ingredient compatibility in terms of allergies, we recommend that you consult with a licensed dermatologist regarding the list of ingredients found on our website.

And yes, our products are safe to be used by Mothers to Be. The majority of our products contain all natural active enzymes, herbs, and botanicals that many doctors encourage the use of for "all" of us, pregnant or not.

Do your products work for the Fellas?

Why yes, our products were made with men in mind at the very beginning of our skincare brand journey. As such, our products help to address many of the skin challenges faced by men and women of color (e.g., hyperpigmentation, dehydration, dark spots, acne, excessive oil, wrinkles, eczema, uneven skin texture, irritation, uneven skin tone, and etc.).



What is your process for shipping? 

Once an order is placed, you will receive an email confirmation verifying the item(s) that you purchased. Please allow up to 3-5 business days (from the date of order) for your order to be processed and prepped/for shipping. Once your order has been shipped you will receive an email notification with carrier tracking information. 

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we ship internationally (if zones are available). The cost of shipping will vary and depend on the carrier. All costs associated with International Shipping will be the customer’s responsibility.

Which carriers do you use?

We ship using USPS, Fed Ex, UPS, & DHL


Unfortunately we are unable to change or modify orders after they’ve been placed. We’re also unable to change shipping addresses after orders have been submitted. Please double-check that all shipping info is accurate before placing your order! Please note that any orders placed separately will ship separately.

In terms of cancellations, you may be able to cancel your order if you contact us with the request to do so before the order has been fulfilled/processed. However, after an order has been fulfilled/processed, no cancellations can be made. We will do our vey best to accommodate you if your order has not been fulfilled/processed. 



What is your return/refund policy? 

Not happy with your purchase? No worries, we honor returns for store credit on all of our products. It is our goal to make sure that our customers are always happy and satisfied. Therefore, if you would like to return your item(s), we will be glad to help by way of the return process below. Please note that refunds and exchanges are not available, only returns for store credit. 


We have a 7 day return policy, which means you have 7 calendar days after receiving your item(s) to request a return and ship the item(s) back to us. Return requests made outside of the 7 calender day window will not be eligible for approval. And items shipped to us after the 7 calendar day grace period will be ineligible and will be shipped back to the sender. We recommend taking pictures of your tracking number for your records in case the shipping company is experiencing delays. 

To be granted a return, your item(s) must be unopened, unused, and in its original condition and packaging. If item(s) do not meet these requirements,  the return will not be processed and item(s) will be shipped back to the sender. 

To request a return, contact us at Be sure to provide your full name and order number in your request. If your return request is accepted, we will send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return and obtaining a return approval will not be accepted and will be shipped back to the sender. 

*All costs incurred for returning an item(s) will be the responsibility of the customer. 

Once we have received your item(s), your return will be processed in 3-5 business days and you will receive a store credit in the form of an e-gift card in the amount you paid for the item(s) returned. Please note that shipping costs are not included.



We will replace items that arrive damaged or incorrect. Therefore, if you experience any damage or error issues with your order, we will be glad to help by way of the process below: 


If your items arrived damaged or your received an incorrect item, we will be happy to fix it and make things right.

In order to process a replacement for damaged or incorrect items, you will need to email us a photo of the damaged item(s) or incorrect item(s) within 5 calendar days of delivery date for review and approval. Requests sent to us outside of the 5 calendar day window will be ineligible for approval.

Once approved, we will provide you with a return shipping label for you to ship the item(s) back to us. Once we receive the (item(s), your replacement will be processed in 3-5 business days. You will receive a shipping notification when your replacement item(s) have been shipped to you. Only the exact correct item(s) or damaged item(s)with be replaced, no changes or exchanges. How much of the product should I use?

Keep in mind that a little product goes a long way. Using a lot of product will not speed up the results process, but it will speed up the costs associated with a healthy skincare regime. Two pumps of product should be enough to cover face and neck area.

How do I incorporate BBSKin products into my skincare routine?

First things first! Only use products on clean skin. Our product line consists of all 7-steps to achieve fully nurtured skin. Each product has a role that can serve in place of what you are using now. Try it. Take the chance of difference. It can only help.

When should i expect to see results?

Diversity and the power of difference is our first love and a core value of ours. With that being said, we have to acknowledge the fact that everyone's skin wellness journey is different. As with all solution-based products, results happen over time and depend upon the person. Hyperpigmentation, acne, dryness, and anti-aging are common skin concerns amongst all age groups. However, our differences in lifestyles and behaviors affects the timing results of products. Therefore, timing of outcomes will vary from person to person. Please be mindful that older skin matters such as hyperpigmentation, scars, and etc. will take longer to see results.



Do I have to set an account to place an order?

No, you do not need to create an account in order to place and order with us. However, we recommend that you do so in order to stay connected to us and get real-time exclusive info. It's always good to have access to the deets.

Can I change or cancel my order?

Unfortunately, you cannot change or modify your order once your order has been placed. However, you may be able to cancel your order if you contact us with the request to do so before the order has been fulfilled/processed. However, after an order has been fulfilled/processed, no cancellations can be made. We will do our vey best to accommodate you if your order has not been fulfilled/processed.
